The National Direction of Information and Evaluation of Educational Quality (DiNIECE), organism dependent of the Sub-secretary of Educational Planning, is the unit of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology responsible of:  

• the development and sustainability of the Federal System of Educational Information,
• the evaluation actions of the National Education System,
• the design and development of investigations related to the formulation of educational policies.  

The mission of DiNIECE is to bring opportune and qualified information for the planning, management and evaluation of the educational policies and to make available information about the education system in fulfillment of the 1172/03 decree that guarantees access to public information.

Being part of the National Statistics System DiNIECE produces, analyzes and diffuses information about different aspects of the national education system, with exception of the university level, and it develops investigations orientate to improve its quality and equity.
